City of Madison Provides Snow Removal Update for Residents After Recent Snowfall

On December 7, 2025, the City of Madison announced there would be no citywide plowing after the recent snowfall. Streets Division trucks will remain active, focusing on specific snow removal tasks.

Overnight, city crews salted and plowed main roads to keep them clear. By mid-morning, crews will apply sand to hills, curves, and intersections in residential areas to improve traction.
