Madison High School Students Gain Early Career Experience Through Local Apprenticeship Program

The Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) offers a Youth Apprenticeship program for high school students. The program allows students to work in their chosen field as early as their junior year.

Annie Johnston, the district’s coordinator of work-based learning, says students are placed in industries such as finance, healthcare, biotechnology, automotive, and marketing.
