Bryan Guzman is a Firefighter/EMT at Station 9 on Midvale Blvd. in Madison, Wisconsin. He works the ‘B’ shift and covers an area with many historic residential neighborhoods. These neighborhoods have older buildings and layouts, which can affect emergency response work.
Bryan did not always plan to become a firefighter. In college, he considered careers in Social Work, Secondary Education, Kinesiology, and Criminal Justice. After exploring these options, he decided that working in the fire service matched his interests and skills.
