MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Frigid temperatures expected this weekend across Southern Wisconsin mean many people will turn up their thermostats and stay inside, but for those experiencing homelessness, basic survival is on the line.
At Porchlight, a men’s homeless shelter, evening check-in looked different on Friday, as they prepared for an extreme weather night.
