SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. — Improperly discarded smoking material caused a fire to a Sun Prairie duplex on Tuesday morning.
Sun Prairie Fire and EMS said the grey smoke was coming from an open garage. Most of the fire had reportedly been extinguished by residential and police department fire extinguishers. Fire crews put out the remaining fire with a water can and checked for extension of the fire through the garage drywall. No extension was found…
