MADISON, Wis. — A vehicle caught on fire on Madison’s south side Wednesday afternoon after the owner reported that a friend provided a jump start following a dead battery. Witnesses reported seeing smoke and flames rising from the vehicle.
Firefighters responded to a residence near Aldo Leopold Park shortly after 3 p.m. and discovered that a four-door sedan’s engine compartment was fully engulfed in flames.
