MADISON, Wis. — Edgewood University and the Madison Metropolitan School District have launched a partnership that will give high school students access to earn dual credit for math courses while providing training for MMSD educators.
This collaboration will support a cohort of up to 25 MMSD teachers in earning the qualifications needed to teach dual math courses at their respective schools. The effort directly advances a commitment MMSD leaders shared during the Board of Education’s October Operations Work Group meeting to expand college-credit classes taught by MMSD educators, ensuring students can access college-level learning without leaving their school campus.
