MADISON, Wis. — Veterans receiving care at the Madison VA Hospital are set to gain something many never knew they needed — a place to stay that feels like home.
Fisher House officials have announced plans to build a free, five-star extended-stay home for veterans and their families near the Madison VA, expanding a model already operating in Milwaukee and available at more than 100 other VA sites worldwide.
