FITCHBURG, Wis. (WMTV) -Delivery drivers are working extended hours and handling hundreds of packages daily as last-minute holiday shoppers rush to complete their Christmas lists.
UPS drivers are averaging 200 packages per day, but that number has doubled or tripled during the holiday rush, according to Melissa Ross with UPS. Last week marked the company’s peak business period.
