Driver arrested for OWI on Beltline

MADISON, Wis. — A Black River Falls man was arrested after he reportedly drove drunk on the Beltline on Friday.

Middleton Police Department said this occurred on the eastbound Beltline at University Avenue, where police said the driver, a 58-year-old man hit a guardrail, and was passed out behind the wheel of the running vehicle.

An officer noted the man was drunk, and the driver reportedly admitted to drinking alcohol. He was later arrested for felony fifth offense operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated…
