- Patchy fog tonight gives way to rain Sunday morning
- Snow accumulations of 1-3 inches expected, with higher amounts north
- Strong winds up to 45 mph will create dangerous driving conditions
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – As we head into Saturday evening, patchy fog is developing across southern Wisconsin and will become more widespread overnight. If you’re planning any evening activities or early morning travel on Sunday, be prepared for reduced visibility that could drop to half a mile or less in some areas, particularly southwest of Madison around sunrise.
The fog and mist will stick around through Sunday morning, gradually improving by late morning to midday, though low clouds will linger throughout the day. Don’t let the cloudy start fool you, though Sunday will feel surprisingly mild with temperatures climbing into the low 40s, and some areas along the Wisconsin-Illinois border could even reach the low 50s.
