Drone helps Madison police arrest 4 teens who stole car

MADISON, Wis. — Madison police used a drone to spot four teens who allegedly stole a car on New Year’s Eve.

At around 11 p.m. Wednesday, a sergeant reportedly saw a vehicle run a red light and tried to pull it over, however the driver sped away.

The sergeant did not chase the vehicle, but watched from a distance as it drove through a parking lot in the 4300 block of Lien Road. The vehicle eventually hit a patch of ice and slid into some shrubs. Four teens then ran from the vehicle into the nearby woods…
