1. Report cites ‘critical issues’ in Sun Prairie’s handling of alleged misconduct
The Sun Prairie Area School District Board of Education issued a public statement Tuesday, Jan. 6, after releasing the findings of an independent investigation. Attorney Samuel Hall, who conducted the investigation, said school and district administrative leaders “failed to recognize Title IX obligations.”
2. Report: Demand for electricity, water will rise amid Wisconsin data center boom
A new report finds demand for electricity and water in the Badger State will rise in the upcoming years due to the creation of more data centers. It comes as demand has fallen about 2.6% between 2006 and 2024, the Wisconsin Policy Forum report states, going from 15 gigawatts to 14.6 gigawatts…
