MADISON, Wis. — National Ice Cream For Breakfast Day is once again being celebrated by Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream Company this year.
What started over 60 years ago by a parent looking for a lighthearted way to brighten the winter season has grown into a beloved holiday celebrated by ice cream fans around the world.
The Madison-area stores—located on Atwood Avenue, Midvale Boulevard, Monroe Street, Gemini Drive, North Grand Avenue, Frank Lloyd Wright Avenue, and Research Park Drive—will open at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7, where customers can enjoy ice cream donut sandwiches made with fresh donuts from Greenbush Bakery, along with warm, house-made waffle sundaes…
