MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – The Dane County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 14-year-old after a license plate reader alerted them to a stolen car.
DCSO said they were alerted around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday to a stolen Hyundai Elantra driving south on Main Street in the Village of Cottage Grove.
When deputies TRIED to stop the driver, the driver allegedly sped up instead of slowing down. Deputies tried to use a tire deflation device, but it did not work and the chase was stopped after less than 4 miles…
