Public invited to visit World Championship Cheese Contest in Wisconsin this March

MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – The World Championship Cheese Contest is back in 2026, and as usual, it’s hosted by the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA).

Neenah Police Department celebrates America’s 250th birthday with commemorative badges

The biennial event last took place in March 2024, and it’s once again heading to the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center in Madison. This year’s edition runs from March 3-5, with submissions still open through January 30.

According to a release, the public is invited to attend the first few days of the competition to observe the initial stages and enjoy some free samples while learning about the ins and outs of cheese judging.

“We’re thrilled to provide an opportunity for the community to learn more about the craftsmanship behind the dairy products they know and love, and discover new dairy favorites,” Contest Director Kirsten Strohmenger said via the release…
