Oregon residents criticize meeting over proposed Foxboro Golf Course development

OREGON, Wis. (WMTV) – Homeowners in Oregon are pushing back against plans that could eliminate Foxboro Golf Course, saying they were promised the land would remain a golf course and community amenity when they bought their homes.

Dozens of residents packed a Thursday night meeting, called by developer Glenn Hofer, to discuss future plans for the property. Many say the meeting only deepened their concerns, not just about the fate of the course, but about how decisions are being communicated.

Developer Glenn Hofer asked WMTV 15 News to leave before the meeting began and declined an on-camera interview. Hofer sent a statement to WMTV 15 News just before 9:30 a.m. on Friday…
