The Madison Police Department said one of its own, Officer Voigt, was taking a trip to Barcelona in the fall, and as he was getting ready to take a nap during the long overnight flight, he heard a woman a few rows up scream for help.

According to the post, an unresponsive and pulseless passenger was enduring a medical emergency, and Officer Voigt immediately jumped into action, providing chest compressions as an onboard doctor found a weak pulse.

The doctor, Officer Voigt and an onboard nurse grabbed available medical equipment along with a coat hanger for IVs, and the man regained his consciousness. He believed he might have taken too much of his prescription.
