Trio of schools honored by Wisconsin School Counselor Association

This year, 12 school counseling programs received the prestigious Program of Promise Award from the Wisconsin School Counselor Association (WSCA), three of which are in the Oregon School District: Brooklyn Elementary School, Forest Edge Elementary School and Rome Corners Intermediate School.

According to a Wisconsin School Counselor Association Jan. 16 news release, awards are given to school counseling programs that meet or exceed the requirements in a submitted Wisconsin School Counselor Accountability Report (WSCPAR). Winners will be recognized during the WSCA National School Counseling Week breakfast on Friday, Feb. 6.
