Kelce brothers help Laila Edwards’ family pay for travel to Olympics

MADISON, Wis. — Laila Edwards is preparing to represent Team USA at the Olympics in Milan, a dream and honor for the Badger star. However, getting to Milan is no small expense, especially when factoring in the cost for her parents to travel and watch her compete on the world stage.

To help cover these costs, Laila started a GoFundMe campaign aimed at raising funds specifically for her parents’ travel expenses. The campaign saw an incredible boost thanks to generous donations from fellow Cleveland natives and NFL stars Jason and Travis Kelce, Edwards told People Magazine in an interview.

Laila, who grew up dreaming of playing for the Wisconsin Women’s Hockey team, and has won two national titles in three years as a Badger, shared that Travis Kelce personally reached out to her, not only to make a donation but also to offer additional support by asking how else he could help…
