MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – The Dane County Sheriff’s Office is working to investigate telephone fraud, officials said Wednesday.
According to a press release, DCSO said a woman in Windsor was contacted Tuesday morning by someone claiming to be Captain Ronald Towers with the Sheriff’s Office.
