JANESVILLE – A 37-year-old Madison man with a decades-long criminal history is facing a new felony drug charge after being found in possession of cocaine during an arrest last Sunday outside a Janesville Kwik Trip.
According to criminal complaint, Janesville police found both rock and powder cocaine in a backpack and a cross-body bag during a search of Ronald Coleman Jr.’s person and vehicle outside Kwik Trip, 2518 W Court St., in the early morning hours of Sunday, Jan. 25. Police also found marijuana in the vehicle, the complaint says.
Coleman faces a felony charge of possession of cocaine, as a second and subsequent offense, which carries a maximum penalty of 3 years, 6 months in prison and a $10,000 fine. He’s also charged with felony bail jumping…
