MADISON, Wis. — Nobody was hurt after a car drove through the garage of an apartment on Madison’s far west side Thursday evening.
A Madison Fire Department spokesperson said the crash was reported just before 6:30 p.m. in the 7400 block of Old Sauk Road. The car had damaged the garage enough that crews were worried about the building’s safety.
The Heavy Urban Rescue Team was called to the scene and used temporary structural supports to sure up the building and remove the car. After taking the car away, the team found that the building was safe and nobody inside had to leave…
