MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -A Mount Horeb High School graduate is living his dream, working behind the scenes for the Olympics with NBC Sports.
Maxwell McGilligan serves as a live event technology manager for NBC Sports, testing cameras and microphones, ensuring everything happening in Italy looks perfect for viewers at home.
“It’s definitely one of those, at times, thankless jobs,” McGilligan said. “We’re always the first person they talk to in the room because we’re usually the person that’s most connected with what’s happening, because we’re checking in with everyone, making sure everything’s working.”…
