Oregon Police investigating 2 alleged cases of misconduct between school faculty and students

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – The Village of Oregon Police Department is investigating two alleged cases of misconduct between school employees and students. In one of the cases, the district said a teacher resigned after being placed on leave.

Village of Oregon Police Chief Jennifer Pagenkopf outlined the details of both investigations on Tuesday.

Pagenkopf said the first investigation is a suspected inappropriate relationship between a faculty member and student that the district was made aware of on November 3, 2025. The district did their own investigation, and the case was not reported to the Oregon Police Department until Jan. 12.
