MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – The University of Wisconsin- Madison School of Veterinary Medicine is warning dog owners about signs of sickness they might miss.
This comes after Madison Parks learned through social media that a dog died after visiting Warner Park’s off-leash dog park.
Veterinary critical care specialist Dr. Sam Bilko, who works in the university’s emergency room, said dog owners should pay close attention to their pets when outside.
“When you go to the dog park, you want to always make sure you have your dog in eye line so that they’re not eating anything they shouldn’t,” Dr. Bilko said.
