STOUGHTON, Wis. (WFRV) – A saturated traffic enforcement focused on speed violations was conducted by police on Wednesday in Wisconsin, resulting in several stops and an OWI arrest.
According to a release from the Stoughton Police Department, the hour-long operation carried out on USH 51 resulted in 13 traffic stops for speed violations, with three citations and 11 warnings being issued.
The highest violation was said to be one driver going 43mph in a 25mph zone, with the average speed of the drivers stopped being about 38mph.
