MADISON, Wis. — A pedestrian was taken to the hospital after she was hit by a vehicle near Madison’s east side Thursday, according to the Madison Police Department.
Officers were dispatched to the area of East Washington Avenue, and North Marquette Street shortly before 7 p.m.
Officers arrived to find an injured woman lying in the road. It was later reported she sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Police said she was not in the crosswalk at the time of the crash…
