Madison’s transportation leaders face a big question following the death of 17-year-old Sasha Rosen this month: What else can be done to reduce the risk to pedestrians on Madison’s streets?
Residents and city officials discussed a variety of changes at an emotional Transportation Commission meeting last week to improve traffic safety — particularly along South Park Street in response to the crash that authorities say killed Rosen as he tried to cross the road to catch the bus near Burr Oak Lane.
