MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Wednesday marks 28 years since the killing of a Madison-area priest, and Dane County law enforcement are honoring his death.
In a statement posted to Facebook, Dane County Sheriff Kalvin Barrett said his heart went out to Father Alfred Kunz’ loved ones.
“On this solemn 28th anniversary of the tragic homicide of Father Alfred Kunz, we honor the memory of a devoted priest whose unwavering faith and service touched countless lives in our Dane County community,” Barrett said. “Though time has passed, our resolve to seek justice remains steadfast.”
