MADISON, Wis. — Dane County issued its final request for proposals Friday for a program that would put EV charging stations in more neighborhoods.
The Charge Up Dane County program covers the cost of design and construction of public charging stations in areas of the county such as neighborhoods and rural areas that may not have stations.
“Charge Up Dane County is a great example of how the County partners with public and private entities to make clean energy solutions affordable for everyone,” County Executive Melissa Agard said. “Dane County is already a leader in EV adoption and this program will help expand access by making EV charging infrastructure more affordable.”…
