Foremost Farms enters World championship Cheese Contest

MARSHFIELD, Wis. (WJFW) — Wisconsin cheesemakers competed this week against manufacturers across the world in the World Cheese Championship Contest in Madison.

A local cheese factory sent its perfected Cheddar recipe to go up against the cheeses of the world.

Foremost Farms in Marshfield has roots dating back to the 1950s in world class cheese production. They have spent decades perfecting their cheddar recipe and brought it to the World Cheese Championship contest in Madison.

Scott Navarre, product development manager for Foremost, spent years becoming a master cheesemaker. Since beginning his career with Foremost, he and all the staff at the facility have been constantly improving their cheese recipes…
