CEOs of Johnsonville and Culver Franchising System to speak at Power Hour

A husband-and-wife CEO duo will be the featured speakers at our next Cap Times Power Hour, held on Wednesday, April 8, at The Edgewater Hotel in Madison.

Don Fussner is a seasoned executive with more than 30 years of experience in consumer-packaged goods manufacturing, including 16 years in the meat industry. Currently serving as CEO of Johnsonville, Fussner’s career is distinguished by major leadership roles and initiatives at companies such as Nabisco, Oscar Mayer, Kraft/Heinz, and now Johnsonville.

Julie Fussner is the first woman to serve as chief executive officer of Culver Franchising System, the franchisor of over 1,000 Culver’s restaurants across 26 states. She joined Culver’s in 2017 as its vice president of marketing and she became chief marketing officer six years later. Previously, she was a marketing leader at companies like American Family Insurance, Kraft Foods Group and Oscar Meyer.

Don and Julie live in Waunakee and Kohler, Wisconsin, and together have five sons and three grandchildren.
