Milwaukee, WI – Drivers across southern Wisconsin could see travel conditions deteriorate rapidly starting Saturday evening as a long-duration winter storm brings a mix of rain, sleet, freezing rain and eventually heavy snow into the region before the Monday commute.
According to the National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan, a Winter Storm Watch is in effect from 7 p.m. Saturday through 4 p.m. Monday for much of southeast and south-central Wisconsin, including Milwaukee, Madison, Waukesha, Racine, Kenosha, and Fond du Lac.
