Wisconsin road projects anticipated to continue after icy winter

Wisconsin in March can be unpredictable between heavy snowfall and 70-degree days, but the state transportation department anticipates continuing some heavy road projects after experiencing the brunt of winter.

A Hazardous Weather Outlook was announced for southeast, east central and south-central Wisconsin starting Thursday and continuing through the weekend for gusty winds, rain and show expected north of Madison and Milwaukee, according to the National Weather Service.

Meteorologists are confident in significant, accumulating snow and blowing snow Saturday night through Sunday night, but are not sure yet where the heaviest snow will fall. Some outlets reported Milwaukee could get up to a foot of snow over the weekend…
