Dear Editor: I’m writing to share a bit about a strong candidate for Cottage Grove Village Trustee. I first met Casey Erlandson at a Cottage Grove Schools & Family Organization meeting where he shared thoughtful comments about the topic at hand. I’ve watched him speak multiple times at Monona Grove School Board meetings with great respect, clarity and kindness. I was so impressed with his message and demeanor. In a world of overwhelming negativity Casey stood out as informed and kind. He sees the hard work of others and recognizes them for it.
