In 2022, subtle signs of a new restaurant — neon lights and painted human silhouettes hanging in the upper windows — could be seen from the street level on East Washington Avenue. The historic Fuller and Johnson Manufacturing Co. building, which had long housed the historic Fyfe’s Bistro and had more recently been a Pasqual’s Cantina location, had entered a new era.
It wasn’t until three years later — pending a long application process with the city — that Turn Key Supper Club finally added a street-facing sign declaring its tenancy to passing motorists.
Restaurant co-owners Sam Parker, Ryan Huber and Brian Bartels first met while working at the original Great Dane on Doty Street in the mid-1990s. Even then, they knew they’d eventually run their own restaurant together…
