MADISON, Wis. — A teacher at Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) has been arrested for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with a student — a case that law enforcement have assigned to the Special Victims Unit.
Madison Police served multiple search warrants and arrested 29-year-old Eliav Goldman on grooming, causing mental harm to a child and sexual misconduct charges on Friday. MMSD said staff became aware of a relationship with a student on March 20 and placed Goldman on administrative leave.
