COLUMBUS, Wis. — A 42-year-old Windsor woman was arrested for her fourth operating while impaired offense after she exceeded the speed limit late Saturday night, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office said.
A sergeant was on patrol in the Town of Columbus when he observed a vehicle on State Highway 60 exceeding the speed limit at around 11:28 p.m. The sergeant confirmed via radar that the vehicle was traveling in excess of the posted 55 mph limit.
He conducted a traffic stop and reported that the driver allegedly displayed indicators of impairment. The sergeant then proceeded to conduct an OWI investigation and determined the driver was impaired, leading to her arrest.
