MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities say one man in Wisconsin will spend the next three years behind bars after being recently sentenced for trafficking marijuana.
According to a release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Western District of Wisconsin, the Federal Bureau of Investigation received a tip in June 2025 indicating that 23-year-old Dejaun Angelo from Madison had posted racist and violent threats on “X” targeting Jews and African Americans.
A search warrant obtained and carried out at Angelo’s near-eastside Madison apartment found 19.5 pounds of marijuana, 423 grams of hashish, 1,500 grams of hashish oil, and numerous firearms. Authorities also found hundreds of ammunition boxes in a rented storage unit.
