JANESVILLE — Janesville Parker had a tough time slowing down Verona Saturday in a Big Eight Conference softball game at the Janesville Youth Sports Complex.
The Wildcats won 12-1, despite Vikings’ pitcher Emma Terry pitching all seven innings. Verona collected 14 hits, while Parker garnered three.
“I’m content with the way we played,” Parker coach Jenny Ruesch said. “We didn’t have one bad inning that stuck out among the rest. It just wasn’t our best showing at the plate, but I give all the props to Verona’s pitching staff. They’re tough to hit and very efficient on the mound.”…
