MIDDLETON, Wis. — The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office on Monday identified the 68-year-old Middleton woman who lost her life after a vehicle hit her in Middleton last week.
The crash occurred in the area of Branch Street near Century Avenue just before 6 a.m. Thursday when Esperanza Cruz Herbas de Alpire was hit.
The driver, 25-year-old Tanna Torrez-Centeno from Middleton, told police she did not have a driver’s license but was in the process of applying for one. An officer on scene learned she was convicted of a citation in the Village of Waunakee Municipal Court, a criminal complaint alleges…
