Family displaced after house fire in downtown Madison

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – A family is displaced after a fire broke out Tuesday morning in a downtown Madison home, the city’s fire department said.

According to the Madison Fire Department, 10 engines responded just after 5 a.m. to a house fire on the 400 block of North Few Street.

Ladders were used as crews worked to control the fire.

Firefighters had the flames under control by around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday…
