Lili Bowen has spent her entire adult life teaching martial arts to thousands of students at Tiger-Rock Martial Arts Academy in Woodstock.
She was forced to close her business May 31 when she wasn’t able to renew her lease with Towne Lake Village Shopping Center on Rose Creek Drive, but Bowen remains committed to those students and to the principles of taekwondo, which she summarizes as “a show up and be up mentality” and a culture of mutual respect.
