The Dublin City Schools System is a step closer to hiring a permanent, full-time Superintendent after a meeting called Wednesday night where Dr. MeMarcos Holland was unanimously approved as the sole candidate to fill the position.
With the assistance of the Georgia School Board Association, Dr. Holland was selected from 25 applicants for the appointment.
At the time of his interview, Dr. Holland was serving as the Chief Human Resource Officer for Marietta City Schools and is a member of the superintendent’s Executive Cabinet.
