Fugitive Caught: Suspect Arrested For Murder Of Pregnant Georgia Woman

A fast-moving investigation into the shooting deaths of a young mother and her unborn baby ended in an arrest on Tuesday. The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, working alongside the U.S. Marshals Service, tracked down and arrested 26-year-old Devin Anthony in connection with the double homicide.

Authorities located Anthony at a home in the 1200 block of Quail Hunt Drive in Riverdale, Georgia. His arrest follows a fatal shooting earlier that day at a residence on Peppertree Circle in Decatur, which claimed the life of 23-year-old Shakiya Pridgen and her unborn child.

Anthony has been hit with three severe felony charges: Malice Murder, Feticide, and Aggravated Assault with Intent to Murder. Following his capture, transport teams took him to the DeKalb County Jail, where online records show he is being held without bond.
