ATLANTA — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has arrested two men following a joint operation targeting a major methamphetamine trafficking network operating in North Georgia, authorities said.
Carrizal Humberto, 32, of California, and Malcolm Stephens, 34, of Toccoa, Georgia, were charged with trafficking methamphetamine after their arrests on June 23 in DeKalb County.
The investigation focused on what officials described as a Mexico-based drug trafficking organization believed to be a primary supplier of methamphetamine across North Georgia. Authorities said the organization is responsible for distributing hundreds of kilograms of the drug throughout the region…
