ATLANTA — A chaotic scene unfolded early Tuesday morning in north Atlanta as a driver crashed across a wide stretch, hitting other cars, a home, a power pole and a gas line before allegedly fleeing on foot.
It happened after 2 a.m. at Northside Drive and Overbrook Drive. Nearby residents described a Tesla that first started crashing on Northside before veering onto Overbrook, where the driver hit another car, a home, a power pole and a gas line.
Georgia Power’s outage map showed 44 customers still without power at around 6:30 a.m. with an estimated restoration time of after 8 a.m…
