MARIETTA — Cobb County employees generally have a positive view of their workplace, particularly their relationships with supervisors, but the county’s latest employee satisfaction survey also revealed concerns about communication, workplace culture and confidence in elected officials.
Though results were presented as mostly positive, some commissioners, like Commissioner Erick Allen, were not as optimistic.
“We have a lot of opportunities. We’re a large employer, and it just shows that we have some opportunities and some work to do,” Allen said. “There were a lot of positives, but all employees need to be heard, even those that are not as excited about being here, and we need to hear more from them.”…
