Rideshare driver shot during dispute with passenger, Atlanta police say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A rideshare driver was hospitalized after being shot during an argument early Sunday, Atlanta police said.

Officers arrived at Grady Memorial Hospital just before 5:30 a.m. after receiving a call about a gunshot victim.

Police believe that the incident began when the gunshot victim, who was working as a rideshare driver, picked up a man on Brady Avenue NW. The driver took the man across town to Murphy Avenue in southwest Atlanta when the dispute kicked off, police said…
